“My two children, 12 and 10, started swimming with Tauranga swim school at the beginning of this year. Before starting at Tauranga swim school I was quite despondent about their progress after a number of years, many swimming schools and a lot of money spent. Their progress over one term has been quite significant and encouraging. Andrea is a stickler for getting the basics such as kicking sorted first before moving further. The pool is a great size so swimmers can actually cover some distance and build up their fitness and the lanes are a good width so groups don’t disturb one another. Andrea will also endeavour to get siblings in the pool at the same time or in back to back lessons to save time spent waiting.”

“Thank you so much for creating such a happy, positive and professional environment for your swim school students. It is so convenient that you managed to have both of my children (5 & 9 years old), swimming at the same time. The first time when travelling to the swim school my children were a little hesitant to be meeting new swim teachers and to be swimming at a new place, however Andrea’s kind personality instantly put them at ease and made them feel comfortable. The results of both children have been outstanding, in such a short time, my youngest with Andrea, and my older boy with another one of Andrea’s highly trained teachers. I particularly enjoy the environment and cleanliness of the facilities at the Tauranga Polytechnic pool, I also think it is wonderful that every spare moment Andrea has (such as in between her own classes), she enters the pool to join classes with the other teachers creating a really great teacher / student ratio. She and her staff are so passionate about teaching children to swim and getting great results. I would highly recommend the Tauranga swim school.”
“Our two boys (age 5 & 9) have been swimming with Andrea for two terms. They had both been learning to swim for a number of years at other Tauranga Swim Schools. The improvement in their technique as well as their overall swimming ability and confidence in the last few months has just been amazing. Both boys are achieving personal goals and are very proud of themselves. Our 5 year old recently completed a school challenge of swimming 25m unaided (in a pool he mostly cannot touch the bottom in) and our 9 year old recently completed a school challenge of swimming 500m without stopping. When our older child started swimming lessons with Andrea his ability would best be described as mediocre - two terms on he is representing his school at Western Cluster. We cannot thank Andrea enough for her help, she has gone out of her way to help. We can honestly say she shows a personal interest in the children and does everything she can to help them succeed.”

“While our children were confident in the water, we felt frustrated that their swimming skills were severely lacking. We enrolled them in swimming lessons at TAURANGA SWIM SCHOOL and saw a huge improvement in the swimming ability of all three children after only three lessons. The teachers were quick to place each child in their correct class. They all love coming and often say how much they like their teachers. Each week we see more improvement. Now, after about 7 weeks we will watch a student with a lovely stroke glide through the water, nice kicking, graceful arms and are quite shocked to see it is one of ours that appears at the end of the lane.
